SERVICE

Training that sticks because it comes from the factory floor.

In-company and public programmes for frontline workers, supervisors, and internal compliance teams. Designed for real factory conditions — not conference rooms. Certified under ILO, VCCI, and Global Affairs Canada through TFO Canada.

Trần Xuân Quang delivering a training session

Is this for you?

Not every engagement is the right fit. Here's how to tell.

This fits if…

  • Your factory needs to build an internal auditor or compliance team from scratch.
  • Workers are aware that audits happen, but can't explain what the standards actually require.
  • Your supervisors use compliance as a reporting exercise, not a management tool.
  • You need a Train-the-Trainer programme so your HR team can sustain delivery independently.
  • You want training delivered in Vietnamese, on-site, by someone who has worked on a factory floor.
  • You're running a brand supplier development programme that needs local delivery capacity.

This doesn't fit if…

  • You need a one-day "awareness" session with no follow-up — ticking a box is not the goal here.
  • You're not willing to allow workers to ask questions and speak freely during sessions.
  • Management needs to sit at the back of the room, supervising worker responses.
  • You want a translated generic course, not something designed around your facility's actual conditions.

What's included

  • Pre-training needs assessment (worker interviews, management briefing)
  • Customised training materials in Vietnamese and/or English
  • Full facilitation across all sessions (up to 5 days per programme)
  • Post-training assessment and completion certificates
  • Facilitation guide for internal follow-up sessions
  • Train-the-Trainer module (available as add-on or standalone)
  • Post-training implementation review at 30 days
  • Optional: ILO / VCCI / Global Affairs Canada certification pathway

The process

01

Needs assessment

1–2 days

Before designing anything, I speak with workers, supervisors, and the compliance manager separately. What does the facility already know? Where are the gaps? What language and literacy levels do I need to design for?

02

Programme design

1–2 weeks

Materials are built from scratch around your facility's standard, sector, and workforce. Not adapted slides from another client. Scenario-based, practical, and testable.

03

Room and group setup

Half day before delivery

I set up the training environment — seating, group composition, and ground rules — before any session begins. The physical setup is not optional. It directly affects what workers can say and learn.

04

Delivery

2–5 days

Sessions are participatory, not lecture-based. Workers engage with real scenarios. Assessments confirm comprehension, not memorisation. Where a session isn't working, I adjust in real time.

05

30-day review

1 day

One month after delivery, I return to assess whether knowledge has transferred into daily practice — not just whether workers passed the end-of-session test.

ELECTRONICS — CONTRACT MANUFACTURER · SOUTH-EAST ASIA

4 certified trainers Built in-house in 6 months

A contract manufacturer needed to build internal compliance training capacity across two production lines and a migrant worker workforce. Over six months, we ran a full SA8000 worker awareness programme, trained the HR team as certified internal facilitators, and established a training calendar the factory now runs without external support. The ILO certification was completed within the engagement period.

Common questions

Can training be delivered in Vietnamese?

Yes. All delivery, materials, assessment tools, and facilitation guides are available in Vietnamese. For multinational suppliers with mixed workforces, I can arrange bilingual delivery or parallel Vietnamese and English tracks.

What standards does your training cover?

SA8000, RBA Code of Conduct, ESG frameworks, HREDD (EU CSDDD and LkSG), SMETA, WRAP, C-TPAT, and custom buyer codes. I also deliver general compliance management and grievance mechanism training for frontline workers and supervisors.

What is the Train-the-Trainer programme?

A structured module that equips your internal HR or compliance staff to facilitate ongoing worker training without external support. Participants receive a facilitation guide, session plans, and assessment tools. Certification pathways through ILO and VCCI are available on request.

Do you work with public training programmes or only in-company?

Both. Public programmes run quarterly and are open to compliance professionals from any company. In-company programmes are designed specifically for a facility's workforce and conditions. Both options carry the same certification pathways.

What happens if the training isn't working on the day?

I adjust. If the group composition is wrong, the language level needs recalibration, or the room setup is creating problems, I'll pause and fix it before continuing. This has happened. It's part of the process — not a failure of planning.

How do you measure whether training was effective?

Pre and post assessments, scenario-based exercises during sessions, and a structured 30-day follow-up visit. Completion certificates are issued only to participants who pass the assessments — they're not automatic for attendance.
