A SMALL WEEKEND PROJECT · ON THE SIDE
A small game I built
with Claude AI in one afternoon.
This isn't my work. My work is social compliance, factory audits, and training. But I believe that to understand a tool that is reshaping how the world operates — AI — you have to make something real with it yourself, not just read about it.
So I spent an afternoon with Claude: a Flappy Bird game in pure HTML, with sound, particle effects, medals, high score, installable as an app on your phone. From idea to a production version with its own domain, automatic CI/CD, and free SSL. Without writing a single line of code by hand.

The story behind it
I belong to the generation born before smartphones. For me, technology used to be something that "other people" made — other people were programmers, other people were software engineers, other people were Silicon Valley startups. My role was to apply, to use.
AI is changing that. Not in the flashy sense — not "AI will replace every job." But in a more concrete sense: the line between the person with an idea and the person who knows how to build it is blurring. If you can articulate clearly what you want, AI can help you create it.
I made this game not to become a game developer. I made it to see, for myself, how that line is shifting. And to test: if one afternoon is enough to go from an idea to a public product, with its own domain, running on a global CDN — what does that mean for my real work? For how I build compliance systems? For how I design training programs? For how I write documentation for clients?
"Tools don't replace expertise. But expertise with good tools can do many times more."
That's why I've kept this game here, on my personal site — sitting among the articles about SA8000 and the case studies on audit remediation. Not to show off. But to remind myself — and maybe you — that we're living through a moment when things that used to be hard, expensive, and deeply specialized are now within reach. As long as we're willing to put our hands on the keyboard and begin.

Back to the serious work?
If you're here because you're interested in what I actually do — compliance, factory audits, training — that conversation is always open.
