SERVICE

Keynotes, workshops, and honest panel contributions.

Conference keynotes, corporate training days, and industry roundtables on ethical sourcing, HREDD compliance, and factory-floor accountability. Everything I say from a stage comes from nineteen years of doing the work — not studying it.

Trần Xuân Quang speaking at an industry conference

Is this for you?

Not every engagement is the right fit. Here's how to tell.

This fits if…

  • You need a practitioner speaker — someone who has been in the room, not someone who has read the research.
  • Your audience is compliance professionals, sourcing teams, or factory managers.
  • You want a session that challenges the room, not one that confirms what they already think.
  • You're organising a conference, supplier day, or brand training event in Asia or Europe.
  • You need bilingual delivery (English and Vietnamese) for a mixed audience.
  • You want substantive panel contributions, not prepared remarks read from notes.

This doesn't fit if…

  • You need a motivational speaker or general leadership content — that's not what I do.
  • Your audience wants validation that current sourcing practices are sufficient.
  • You're expecting the speaker to endorse a specific product, service, or certification body.
  • The event requires a speaker who will avoid controversy on labour rights topics.

What's included

  • Topic briefing call to align on audience, format, and key messages
  • Custom presentation or session design (not a fixed deck)
  • Pre-event Q&A with event organisers
  • Full keynote or workshop delivery (45 min – full day formats)
  • Panel moderation or participation as required
  • Short bio, high-resolution photo, and topic description for programme materials
  • Post-event follow-up resources for attendees (summary, reading list, contact)

The process

01

Topic and audience brief

30 minutes

A 30-minute call to understand your audience, the event context, what you want them to leave thinking differently about, and any constraints on content. Most speakers skip this. I don't.

02

Session design

1–2 weeks before event

I design the session structure, key arguments, and supporting examples specifically for your audience and format. For panel sessions, I prepare substantive positions on likely questions — not talking points.

03

Materials and logistics

10 days before

Slide deck (where required), handouts, and bio materials delivered 10 days before the event. Tech check and room brief completed the day before or morning of the event.

04

Delivery

Event day

The session runs as designed. I don't read from slides and I don't avoid questions. For interactive workshops, I adjust the pace and depth based on room response.

05

Follow-up

48 hours after event

Within 48 hours, I send a follow-up resource package for attendees — a summary of key points, recommended reading, and contact details for anyone who wants to continue the conversation.

INDUSTRY CONFERENCE · ETHICAL TRADE DIALOGUE · HO CHI MINH CITY

4 continents Audiences reached since 2019

Since 2019, speaking engagements have covered audiences from sourcing teams at global retailers, compliance officers at contract manufacturers, policymakers working on HREDD implementation, and factory managers attending supplier development days. Sessions have been delivered across Vietnam, Germany, and remotely to audiences in the UK and North America. The topic — factory-floor accountability in an era of regulatory escalation — has not changed. The urgency has.

Common questions

What topics do you speak on?

Social compliance and factory-floor accountability. HREDD — EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive, German LkSG, and UK Modern Slavery Act implications. SA8000, RBA, and SMETA for practitioners. Worker voice and grievance mechanisms. ESG reporting for manufacturing. The gap between audit scores and actual conditions.

Do you deliver in Vietnamese?

Yes. Sessions are available in Vietnamese, English, or bilingual format. For mixed audiences, I can structure the session with simultaneous interpretation or alternate between languages for key segments.

Can you moderate a panel as well as speak?

Yes. Panel moderation requires more preparation than speaking — I'll need a briefing call with each panellist, the proposed questions, and a clear sense of what the organiser wants the audience to take away. I don't moderate panels cold.

Do you speak at virtual or hybrid events?

Yes, though I prefer in-person for anything requiring genuine audience interaction. Virtual delivery works well for focused keynotes and briefings. Workshops lose significant value in a virtual format and I'll be direct about that tradeoff.

How far in advance do you need to be booked?

For international travel, 6–8 weeks minimum. For Vietnam-based events, 2–3 weeks is usually sufficient. If your timeline is shorter, contact me directly — I'll confirm availability or suggest alternatives.

What's your fee structure?

Speaking fees depend on format, audience size, travel requirements, and whether preparation time is significant. Keynote fees start at a flat rate for Vietnam-based events. Workshops and full-day training programmes are priced separately. Contact me with your event details for a specific quote.
